Find a dog park

Dog owners and their loyal four-legged friends are welcome at De Ark, where a green zone has been transformed into a fenced dog-walking area. The site is divided into a zone for large dogs and a zone for small dogs. The large dog zone has access to the water feature. Rules of the game: 🐕‍🦺 Clean up your dog's poop. 🐕‍🦺 Close all gates behind you. The site can be accessed via Stationsstraat 152D. Follow the walking path between the 't Ravotterke playground and the Sint-Martinusruiters grounds.

The dog zone is located by the small parking lot just past the farm. Every year, the pond in the dog zone in De Balokken has to be closed due to the risk of blue-green algae contamination. Blue-green algae release toxic substances that make animals sick. To protect the animals' health and ensure that the dog zone can remain open permanently, it was decided to fence off the pond so dogs can no longer enter the water. Additionally, an extra dog zone was created next to the current dog zone. One area is intended for large dogs, the other for small dogs.

There's a car park on the Stasegemsesteenweg. The off-leash area is divided into two sections. One for small dogs and a zone for large dogs. This area is in a small piece of woodland where dogs can really let loose.

The off-leash area at Speelberg in Sint-Joris-Weert is 6 hectares in size and fully fenced. It borders the military domain and can be entered from two sides. The area is located close to the parking lot at the intersection of Weertse Dreef and Herculesdreef. Your dog can also run freely at De Torenvalk in Blanden.

At the 'Den Doorn' site along the Diksmuidse Heirweg, dogs and their owners can fully enjoy the off-leash dog area. This site also features allotment gardens, a picnic area with a barbecue, a sheep meadow with standard fruit trees, and an apiary. Across the Diksmuidse Heirweg lies the vast Vloethemveld nature reserve with numerous walking opportunities. Something for everyone. The off-leash dog area of approximately 2,500 m² is accessible via a gate with a lock system to minimise the chance of dogs running loose on the meadow escaping. There are benches in the meadow so you can quietly enjoy the playing dogs. Of course, it is intended that dog waste be cleaned up. All visitors to the dog meadow must therefore always have dog waste bags with them, which can be disposed of in the rubbish bins at the entrance.

Next to house number 1 on Donk, you'll find a path leading to a dog off-leash area. The off-leash meadow covers about 2,500 m² and features a low play mound. The area is divided into sections, so calm or anxious dogs can feel safe in an enclosed part.

The dog park is located on the grounds of the Gulden Kamer sports complex, next to the football pitch of Cercle Ladies, at the far end of the car park on the Geralaan. Dogs can roam freely on a narrow strip of grass about 100 m long and 10 m wide on average, enclosed by a low, 1 m high fence.

The dog park in Vredespark is an enclosed off-leash area for dogs in the heart of Tielt. Vredespark is a public park with multiple entrances, a central lawn area and a circular path. The park was created in 1986.

Beautiful off-leash dog area in a shady environment. Dogs can swim in the lake, which is wonderful in summer. A small pebble beach has been created. At the entrance of the area there is a parking zone.

Informational signs guide you to a fenced-off dog-walking area of 5.5 hectares, one of the largest in Flanders!

Recently established off-leash zone near the provincial estate Wallemote-Wolvenhof.

On the western bank near the public road Haarlebeek, dogs are allowed in the water within a designated area.

This is a medium-sized dog park with parking, seating, and a few tree trunks to play on. There is no agility course.
